This July, the boating community comes together for one of the highlights of the Gulf of Thailand’s mid-year calendar: the Yacht Rally & Race to Koh Sichang.

Held over three days from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 July, this is more than just a regatta, it’s a chance to reconnect with fellow boaters, enjoy scenic cruising, and experience one of Thailand’s most charming offshore islands. Whether you’re sailing competitively or joining the rally at a relaxed pace, all are welcome.

All Boats Welcome — Sailing & Motor Yachts

This event is open to both racing and cruising classes, and motorboats are very welcome to join the fun. It’s a great way to participate even if you’re not into racing, with group navigation, shared anchorage, and nightly gatherings on the beach.

Saturday, 26 July

– 09:30: Skippers briefing at Ocean Marina

– 11:00: Rally/race start – Long-distance leg to Koh Sichang

– 17:00–18:00: Tenders to beach

– 19:00: Casual dinner & Prize giving onshore

Sunday, 27 July

– 11:00: Island course racing (optional)

– 15:30: Final race start cut-off

– 19:00: Beach gathering & Prize giving

Monday, 28 July

– 11:00: Return rally/race to Ocean Marina Jomtien

– 17:00: Closing Prize Giving

– OMJ Members: Free entry

– Non-Members: 400 THB per person
